A Secomea Case Study
ECS Power & Control, a UK-based designer and supplier of control panels and control systems for HVAC and building management systems, wanted a faster and more effective way to support customers across hospitals, laboratories, offshore platforms, and other sites. Before Secomea, its remote support was fragmented and reactive, making it time-consuming to diagnose issues, manage multiple login methods, and decide whether a site visit was really necessary.
ECS implemented Secomea by installing a gateway at each customer location and using the Secomea M2M access management server to centralize remote connections. With Secomea, ECS can monitor BMS installations 24/7, remotely diagnose and fix many faults, support commissioning, and reduce site visits and travel costs while maintaining IEC62443-certified security.
