A Seclore Case Study
Warwick Academy Bermuda, an independent day school founded in 1662, needed to protect a wide range of sensitive student information—fingerprint data, health records and guidance counsellor notes—that is routinely shared among staff, external advisors and an outsourced IT provider. To prevent accidental disclosure or malicious access by employees, third parties or outsourced system administrators, Warwick turned to Seclore and its Seclore Rights Management solution.
Seclore implemented persistent, data-centric rights management to enforce granular controls—who can view, edit, print, screen-share or copy a file, from which device and for how long—with the ability to revoke or change permissions after sharing. Using Seclore Rights Management to protect student databases, fingerprint records, internal shared drives and board meeting notes, Warwick ensured that only authorized users can access sensitive files, significantly strengthening data security and preserving student and institutional privacy.
