Manufacturing Organization, an Indian multinational conglomerate and major global producer in sectors including cement and primary aluminium with 120,000 employees, faced a critical data-security challenge: sensitive information stored in its OneChem SAP ERP became vulnerable once extracted as standalone files and shared outside the corporate perimeter. Seclore’s connector automatically applies persistent, granular usage controls and policy-federated permissions to files just before they are downloaded, preserving who can access files, what they can do, when, and from which device/IP, while enabling remote revocation and full audit trails; the integration covered about 800 T-codes and keeps permissions synchronized with SAP ERP. As a result, all reports downloaded from SAP are now protected without user intervention, enabling secure collaboration across business units and with third parties, simplifying audits and compliance, and extending SAP security beyond the corporate boundary.
