Life Insurance Company, one of the fastest-growing life insurers in India, faced the challenge of protecting sensitive policyholder PII shared with outsourcers and an extended network of partners, since their perimeter controls stopped securing files once they left the corporate network. To address this, they evaluated rights management options and selected Seclore’s Enterprise Digital Rights Management (EDRM) to secure file-based information both inside and outside the enterprise.

Seclore implemented its EDRM enterprise-wide, classifying and protecting all files marked Internal and above, controlling who could access files, what they could do, when, and from which device, and enabling remote expiry and continuous auditing. As a result, all files leaving the organization were protected and usage-audited at all times, data extracted from enterprise applications was shared only in protected form, and protected data could be consumed by third-party applications and automatically expired—reducing risk exposure, preserving corporate reputation, and enabling continued outsourcing and business growth.
