Canara Robeco, one of India’s oldest asset management firms, needed to classify and protect large volumes of sensitive documents (appointment letters, contracts, management files) that are shared internally and with external partners, while ensuring compliance with SEBI’s cybersecurity framework. To address this, Canara Robeco selected Seclore and its Data-Centric Security Solution.

Seclore was integrated into Canara Robeco’s IT environment to provide classification-driven protection (including integration with Klassify) and folder-level security via Seclore’s Hot Folder feature, applying automated usage controls, rights mapping and tracking. The deployment was quick, helped meet SEBI guidelines and prepare for the Data Protection Bill, and delivered measurable adoption—50–70 active Seclore users now protect sensitive documents as part of daily operations—while reducing unauthorized access and improving auditability.
