Sandis secures 5,000+ users across 11 applications with Secfense

Sandis, an integrator and software provider for the insurance industry, faced the challenge of securing a multitude of diverse and aging applications for its users. The main hurdles were the high cost and complexity of implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) individually for each application. To address this, Sandis chose to implement the User Access Security Broker solution from Secfense.

The Secfense solution allowed Sandis to quickly extend strong authentication, including FIDO-based MFA, to any application without interfering with its source code. This enabled them to rapidly secure 11 applications for over 5,000 users in the first phase, with plans to eventually cover 27 applications. The implementation was so straightforward that it skipped the Proof of Concept stage, and the result was enhanced security that met regulatory recommendations while providing users with a convenient and intuitive login process.
