Sanofi, a global healthcare company, faced the challenge of transitioning from a conventional, pre-pandemic office structure with hierarchical single offices to a flexible hybrid work model. They needed a solution that would support their new open space layout and appeal to a divided workforce, with some employees eager for hybrid work and others preferring to be on-site. To address this, they implemented the hybrid work tool Seatti at their Berlin site.

The solution from Seatti was integrated directly into Microsoft Teams, making it easy to use and requiring no separate app. It allowed employees to book zones rather than individual desks and provided visibility into who was coming into the office. After nine months of using Seatti, Sanofi reported a great increase in exchange and company cohesion. Office occupancy spread out well, with Tuesday and Wednesday becoming the core days, and the hybrid model made the company markedly more attractive as an employer in Berlin.
