MonkeySports implemented Searchspring across multiple domains to overcome challenges with search relevancy

MonkeySports, a multi-site sports and outdoors retailer built on Magento, struggled with search relevancy and unusable feed data after migrating to Magento 2 while using Klevu—products were appearing or missing unpredictably, theming broke on the front end, and slow offshore support delayed fixes. To address these issues, MonkeySports selected Searchspring and implemented its Search & Autocomplete solution.

Searchspring’s Magento module and hands-on integration (live in about 4–6 weeks with a dedicated Slack channel) cleaned up data flows, restored category theming and comparison-pricing logic, and gave the team a dashboard and merchandising rules for full control of search results. The switch eliminated customer complaints about display issues and delivered measurable impact: in the first full month post-launch, 8% of shoppers used search, which accounted for 22% of orders and 23% of revenue.
