POCO is a German value‑focused furniture retailer with over 7,500 employees, more than 115 stores and €1.52 billion in 2016 sales. After unsatisfactory results from an external agency, the company set out from 2013 to bring content and SEO in‑house to build strategic expertise and increase the relevance and performance of poco.de.
POCO implemented the Searchmetrics Suite, used daily for reporting, site‑structure analysis and on‑page/content optimization, and engaged Searchmetrics’ technical consulting during a 2015 relaunch. The changes led to a 329% increase in SEO Visibility and a 22% rise in traffic (2014–2016), improved conversion rates and noticeably higher online sales as organic rankings and visibility improved.
