Searce Helped Kissht Drive Business Agility by Using AWS EKS Services

Kissht, a personal loan lending mobile application in India's FinTech sector, faced significant challenges with its monolithic architecture. Their platform could not scale specific functionalities independently, and any code change required rebuilding the entire application, causing system-wide downtime during updates. Their existing EC2 auto-scaling was also too slow to handle traffic spikes, leading to request failures. Searce was engaged to address these scaling and agility concerns.

Searce implemented a solution by modernizing the client's infrastructure with a microservices architecture on AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). They created new EKS clusters, orchestrated services with Helm charts, and established a secure DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and Hashicorp Vault. This solution provided Kissht with greater business agility, allowing development teams to work concurrently for faster release cycles. The new architecture enabled independent scaling of services for efficient traffic handling and improved overall system resilience by isolating failures. Searce's implementation significantly enhanced the security and availability of the application.
