Healthians Leverages AWS Data Analytics Services for Health Test Product Recommendations to Improve the Business

Healthians, a leading health test at home service in India, faced challenges with its data growth as its existing platforms could not scale. This caused slower query performance, issues with its Metabase BI dashboards, and an inability to gain real-time business insights. Its manual machine learning models for product recommendations were also not scalable. To address this, Healthians partnered with Searce to modernize its data analytics and machine learning infrastructure.

Searce implemented a scalable, intelligent data analytics platform on AWS. The solution used AWS DMS and Glue to replicate data from various sources into a central data lake and Amazon Redshift for reporting. Searce developed new dashboards in Amazon QuickSight and built a custom recommendation engine trained on AWS SageMaker. This modernization effort allowed Healthians to achieve better decision-making with real-time insights and successfully implement a Healthcare Test Package Recommendation Engine with a confidence level greater than 80%, improving overall business performance.
