Delivering mobile news solutions with Google Cloud to serve Indian readers better

inshorts, a mobile news platform, needed to scale to serve millions of Indian readers and free its developers from time-consuming infrastructure management to focus on innovation. They partnered with Google Cloud Premier Partner Searce to adopt Google Cloud solutions.

Working with Searce, inshorts implemented Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Dataflow, and Dataproc. This migration drastically reduced DevOps burdens, cutting monthly infrastructure costs from $100,000 to $20,000 and saving up to six hours of labor daily. The solutions enabled faster development, real-time content recommendations, and improved app performance, supporting inshorts' significant growth.
