RSA Insurance, a leading Canadian property and casualty insurer with about 4,200 employees and distributed teams across the country (and offshore partners), was struggling with manual, inconsistent testing processes. Siloed projects, lack of a common methodology and poor traceability made communication between development, QA and IT inefficient and made it difficult to produce reliable metrics and enterprise reports.

RSA implemented Seapine’s TestTrack, QA Wizard Pro and the ALM Reporting Platform to create a unified testing workflow. With 185 active users, integrated test cases, runs and defects, automated regression scripts that catch defects early, and Outlook-linked email tracking, RSA improved collaboration, streamlined reporting and increased testing productivity—enabling easier enterprise-level metrics and plans to standardize and expand automation.
