SeaMonster Studios implemented a highly visible, branded focus indicator for keyboard navigation and enhanced the menu with their Crow's Nest plugin, allowing for arrow key navigation. This drastically reduced the number of keypresses needed to navigate the site. They also advised on and published a clear accessibility statement. These solutions made the site more usable and demonstrated BlackPast's deep commitment to equity.
