Preview of the March Networks Case Study

March Networks' Applications Deliver Reliable Video Storage 24/7 for Mobile

March Networks, an Infinova company, provides IP video surveillance solutions for banks, retailers, and transportation operators worldwide. Its customers need reliable 24/7 video storage ranging from just 24–48 hours to as long as six months, including rugged mobile storage for buses and rail fleets. To meet these demanding retention, performance, and durability requirements, March Networks turned to Seagate HDDs for its surveillance platforms.

Seagate helped March Networks with a portfolio of purpose-built drives, including Seagate Video 3.5 HDDs for retail and banking, Seagate Surveillance HDDs for fixed recorders, and Seagate Enterprise Capacity 3.5 HDDs for mobile applications. These drives provided low power, high capacity up to 4TB, high write-performance, and vibration tolerance for rugged environments. As a result, March Networks improved storage reliability and performance while lowering costs and supporting around-the-clock video surveillance operations.
