Discovery Channel Korea uses Seagate enterprise HDDs for its content broadcasting services

Discovery Channel Korea, part of Discovery Communications, creates and broadcasts documentaries and other non-fiction content for Korean viewers. As its programming volume grew and more content shifted to electronic files, the channel faced a major storage challenge: it needed highly reliable, error-resistant storage to preserve, edit, transmit, and back up its content without disrupting 24/7 broadcasting operations.

To address this, Discovery Channel Korea implemented Seagate enterprise HDDs across its storage environment, including 2TB drives in a NETSTOR NA770A external enclosure and additional Seagate HDDs for secure archiving. In total, the company now stores 30TB of content on Seagate enterprise hard drives, gaining stable day-to-day editing and transmission, improved data integrity, and painless installation and expansion.
