How PersoPoint Streamlined and Centralised HR with SD Worx SAP solutions

PersoPoint, the Belgian federal government’s personnel and payroll secretariat, needed to replace an outdated payroll engine and unify fragmented HR processes across 59 agencies handling 75,000 workers. SD Worx SAP solutions was brought in to support this major HR digitisation effort with SAP payroll and HR services, including a new payroll engine and employee self-service tooling.

SD Worx SAP solutions built PersoPay on the standard SAP HCM payroll engine and integrated it with PersoPoint’s PeopleSoft core HR system, while also delivering PersoExpenses for expense self-service. The result was a stable, scalable setup that reduced recalculations by more than 80%, enabled smooth phased onboarding of thousands of employees, and saved nearly one million euros a year through digital paychecks alone, alongside further savings from eliminating manual work, legacy systems, and paper-based processes.
