Technische Unie, a Dutch technical wholesaler with 2,300 employees across 37 sales locations and 3 distribution centres, was struggling with a legacy HR setup made up of custom-built applications and a basic HR system that could no longer keep up with growth or change. SD Worx helped the company move to SAP SuccessFactors, giving it a more stable, scalable and supportable HR platform.
SD Worx implemented SAP SuccessFactors with a strong focus on standard SAP best practices, keeping around 80% of HR and payroll processes standard and only 20% customized. The rollout included workshops, training and ongoing communication to support adoption, and the first month after go-live saw salaries processed and paid correctly and on time. As a result, Technische Unie streamlined and automated payroll and HR processes, freed up time for more strategic HR work, and set the foundation for further automation and “zero-touch” data transfer in the future.
