MiniLab cuts hydrofoil bracket production time by 67% with Sculpteo

MiniLab, an innovator in sustainable maritime technology, faced the challenge of manufacturing custom, high-stress brackets for its recyclable hydrofoils while needing to reduce production time and component weight without increasing costs. To overcome this, they partnered with vendor Sculpteo to produce these critical parts.

Sculpteo utilized Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) with Nylon PA12 to manufacture the raw brackets. This solution from Sculpteo successfully cut the production timeline from three weeks down to just one and reduced the overall weight of the components by 20%, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness and meeting the high strength requirements necessary to support the boat's weight.
