Murphy’s Pharmacies - Customer Case Study

Murphy’s Pharmacies, a Canadian retail/healthcare chain with 11 locations, needed an easier, low-cost way to share health and wellness information in pharmacy waiting rooms and walk-in clinics without burdening busy staff. The company adopted ScreenScape’s cloud-based digital signage solution along with Wyse Cloud Connect devices to replace printed posters and rotate prevention messages and promotions more frequently.

Using ScreenScape and Wyse Cloud Connect, Murphy’s deployed screens in five pharmacies, two clinics and a community center, with staff simply plugging in the Wyse device and managing content via the cloud. The ScreenScape solution enabled fast, affordable rollouts, saved about $12,000 in media-player and installation costs, increased retail sales where promotions run on the screens, and expanded opportunities for patient education and community partnerships.
