Guelph Public Library embraces ScreenScape to modernize their library

Guelph Public Library, the oldest free public library in Ontario serving a main branch, five branches and a bookmobile, wanted to modernize patron communication and make the most of a brief 30‑second window at checkout. To reduce printed clutter, promote events and services, and deliver location‑specific messaging, they partnered with ScreenScape and deployed digital signage (ScreenScape Connect) at high‑traffic and checkout areas.

ScreenScape installed plug‑and‑play devices and provided cloud content management and customizable templates so staff could centrally create and push consistent or location‑specific messages. The ScreenScape solution now runs on 9 screens across 6 locations, modernizes the library’s look, reduces printed materials, improves customer service and timely communications, and delivers a cost‑effective boost to their marketing impact.
