Rodd Hotels & Resorts, an Atlantic Canada hotel chain with properties in Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, needed a simple way to communicate with guests and promote packages, local activities and cross-property specials across multiple lobbies and markets. To solve that challenge they turned to ScreenScape and its ScreenScape Connect digital signage service to deliver meeting-room info, weather, social feeds and rotating promotions to guests.
ScreenScape deployed seven lobby screens across Rodd locations using its plug‑and‑play ScreenScape Connect devices and cloud content management, enabling each hotel to edit its own content while the head office controls all screens via a group account. The result: faster, centralized content distribution and effective cross‑promotion of resorts and specials at a low cost and with ongoing training/support—seven live screens managed centrally (and a turnkey pricing option at about $40/month per screen) that improved guest communication and marketing reach.
