A Screenly Case Study
Interlochen Center for the Arts, a large arts-focused secondary school in northwest lower Michigan, needed a digital signage solution that could scale across a 1,200-acre campus and be simple enough for non-technical staff to manage. The IT team evaluated several options before choosing Screenly, looking for an affordable, easy-to-use platform that would reduce support requests and allow marketing to handle updates.
Using Screenly’s Raspberry Pi-based Screenly Player and its CMS, Interlochen quickly rolled out digital signage across campus and grew to more than 65 Screenly-powered displays. The solution let non-technical users deploy and update signs without IT help, saving time for the IT team, while PoE support also made difficult screen locations easier to manage.
