Digital signage in Education for North Valley Baptist Schools

North Valley Baptist Schools, a very small K-12 private Christian school in Silicon Valley, needed an affordable, flexible digital signage solution that fit its mission and could help it better inform, update, and educate students and staff. After finding that larger digital signage providers were too expensive and not user-friendly, the school turned to ScreenCloud to put its unused campus screens to work.

Using ScreenCloud with Samsung HDTVs, a Windows-based Intel NUC, and a Google Chromebit, the school created an in-house signage network powered by Google Slides, Google Docs, Photoshop, and other design tools. North Valley Baptist Schools now uses ScreenCloud to share announcements, events, reminders, student achievements, photography, and birthdays, while giving media students real-world design experience and ownership. The result was a more professional, attractive campus with stronger communication and improved aesthetics, and the school specifically praised ScreenCloud’s educational pricing and responsive support.
