Creating Community Through Digital Signage For a Local Deli

Mitchell’s Delicatessen, a Nashville deli known for fresh artisan sandwiches and local ingredients, wanted to strengthen customer engagement, reduce the impact of long lines and limited parking, and stop specialty menu items from being overlooked. ScreenCloud was brought in as the digital signage platform to support these goals with in-store menu boards and content that could be managed remotely.

Using ScreenCloud, the deli displayed dynamic menu videos, customer social posts, and promotional visuals created with Adobe Spark, all updated quickly from a desk at home. The results were strong: the deli’s smoked chicken, previously selling a maximum of 4 out of 12 meals, began regularly selling out after being featured on the ScreenCloud digital signage, prompting the team to add a “sold out” sign and expand the approach to other menu items.
