RSPB, the UK charity that speaks out for birds and wildlife, needed to improve security and provide a best-practice shopping experience for its online shop. Screen Pages, which has managed the RSPB’s online store since 2009, implemented a hosted payments approach using the Verifone hosted payment page (PayPage) solution to address those concerns.

Screen Pages built a bespoke integration to the Verifone hosted payment page so the RSPB could offload all card handling to a PCI-compliant processor, reducing PCI scope and exposure. The branded payment portal preserves a consistent customer experience and uses Verifone tokenisation so customers can save cards for faster future checkouts—delivering stronger security, quicker checkout and steady online performance improvements under Screen Pages’ management.
