Historic Royal Palaces, the independent charity that cares for the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, the Banqueting House, Kensington Palace and Kew Palace, needed a stronger online retail presence to grow sales and support conservation without government funding. They engaged Screen Pages to design and develop a new Magento-based Historic Royal Palaces Shop that would align with the main site while improving navigation and customer engagement.

Screen Pages implemented a simple, consistent design with theme- and palace-based shopping, large photography, filtered search and linked products to streamline customer journeys. The new Magento site improved the shopping experience, expanded Historic Royal Palaces’ online trading channel and gave the charity better tools to communicate and market beyond the UK—helping drive retail sales that are covenanted back to the charity to fund palace conservation.
