Fleggaard Retail, a modern supermarket chain and the largest in Danish/Scandinavian cross-border trade, wanted to grow its email database by generating new leads and reactivating inactive customers. Working with Scratcher, they explored gamification as a new way to strengthen customer engagement and marketing permissions.
Using Scratcher’s Spin the Wheel game format, Fleggaard promoted a campaign offering €15 gift cards and drove traffic through its website, pop-ups, banners, and social channels. The campaign attracted 34,000 unique participants and converted 21,000 into newsletter subscribers, plus more than 6,600 reactivated contacts, delivering an estimated 61.76% conversion rate and significantly expanding its owned audience.
