A ScorePlay Case Study

Preview of the Major League Pickleball Case Study

The MLP used ScorePlay for the first time during their San Clemente event, for their live stream ingestion, auto-publishing and distribution

Major League Pickleball (MLP) sought to optimize its digital asset management for a large-scale live event in San Clemente. The challenge was to efficiently handle the ingestion and distribution of a massive volume of live broadcast footage and photos, a process that was previously time-consuming and labor-intensive for their team. They turned to the vendor ScorePlay to utilize its platform for live stream ingestion, auto-publishing, and content distribution.

ScorePlay implemented its platform to automate MLP's workflows, co-developing new features like Live Clipping and YouTube integration to enable real-time content creation and publishing. The solution successfully ingested 108 hours of broadcast and over 18,000 assets. This resulted in over 1,200 player downloads, providing valuable engagement metrics, and allowed various pickleball clubs to easily access and share content, generating significant buzz around the event.
