The Hartz Group, led by owner Charles Hartz in Aiken, South Carolina, wanted to launch a new business series of Dunkin Donuts franchises but had never started a business before. With this support, The Hartz Group successfully grew to operate three Dunkin Donuts locations, employing 50 people and generating $2.5 million in annual revenue.
