The Creativity Queen, founded by Laura Dessauer in Sarasota, Florida, helps children through art therapy. The results were strong: her first year was profitable, she hired her first employee, revenue grew 20% in year two, and she later doubled revenue for four months during the recession, finishing ahead on revenue for 2009.
