Rethink Imaging, founded by Tracy Sianta and Anthony Chang in Grand Rapids, Michigan, set out to bring molecular imaging to a wider base of U.S. patients. Their challenge was the high startup capital required to launch a medical imaging business and the need to develop a credible plan for entering hospital purchasing channels. SCORE Mentors Berks and Schuylkill Cty, through SCORE mentoring support, helped guide the company through this early-stage hurdle.

SCORE Mentors Berks and Schuylkill Cty helped Rethink Imaging build a solid business plan and identify ways to connect with hospital purchasing departments. As a result, the company moved into the initial phase of seeking funding and also secured donated accounting services through the Pure Michigan program. The mentoring support from SCORE Mentors Berks and Schuylkill Cty gave the founders practical guidance and ongoing encouragement as they worked toward launching their service.
