Poppington’s, founded by Rose and Bob Augustyn in Greenville, South Carolina, needed help organizing daily operations and creating a workable production schedule as their gourmet popcorn business grew. SCORE Mentors Berks and Schuylkill Cty helped Poppington’s map production on a wall calendar with post-it notes so staff could track work easily, while also advising the owners on business planning and future opportunities. As a result, Poppington’s successfully launched, expanded into a Greenville staple, and now sells dozens of popcorn flavors in-store and online, along with wedding favors, corporate gifts, and popcorn bars for events.
