SCORE Mentors Berks and Schuylkill Cty helped Irish Green Lawn Care build an initial business plan and three years of projected financial statements to secure its first bank loan, and later supported a three-year strategic growth plan and ongoing monthly mentoring. As a result, Irish Green Lawn Care grew to four full-time technicians, a salesperson, two full-time office staff, and the owner-operators, while improving profit margins and reducing stress. The business also launched a hybrid weed control offering that cut synthetic chemical use by 50% to 75%.
