CPR Wrap, founded by Felicia Jackson in Chattanooga, Tennessee, set out to turn a life-saving idea into a real business after a frightening experience when her young son stopped breathing. As she developed her disposable CPR template, she needed guidance on how to move from concept to prototype and build confidence as a new entrepreneur, so she reached out to SCORE Mentors Berks and Schuylkill Cty for support.

With help from SCORE Mentors Berks and Schuylkill Cty, Jackson said her first mentoring session gave her the information and motivation she needed to get started. The business went on to launch in 2015, hire two employees with plans to add two more, secure patent-pending status on two inventions, and form partnerships with schools, hospitals, and airlines to help save lives through CPR Wrap.
