BenEvent Auctions, led by Dee Dee Kiesow, was looking to transition from a secure full-time role into a full-time fundraising consulting and benefit auction business. With support from SCORE Mentors Berks and Schuylkill Cty, Dee Dee built BenEvent Auctions into a consulting service that helps nonprofits plan strategic fundraising events months in advance and improve donor cultivation. The results were strong: she helped raise over $500K for nonprofits in one year and set a goal of reaching $1 million in annual fundraising, showing the growing impact of her business and SCORE’s mentorship.
