The customer, AR's Hot Southern Honey, started after its founder received overwhelming requests for his homemade hot honey. The challenge was to transition this popular homemade product into a scalable and financially sustainable retail business. For this, the founder Ames J. The solution implemented by SCORE Mentors Berks and Schuylkill Cty enabled the company to quadruple its number of retail locations, scaling its growth to be sustainable. The results include the product's availability in 115 retail locations across five states, as well as in eight restaurants and schools.
