ENGIE Services US Saves $179,000

Engie (ENGIE Services US) is a large energy services provider managing solar, battery and cogeneration projects across the U.S.; Jamal Aboueljoud leads a 10-person O&M team in California. Facing slow, manual report generation that took weeks, frequent repeat site visits (about 70% of the time) and gaps in asset management and field-office communication, Engie engaged Scoop Solar and its Scoop platform (Easy Launch Package with the Scoop app and WorkApps) to tackle these field-process inefficiencies.

Scoop Solar implemented the Scoop platform, delivering configurable report templates, mobile digital checklists with mandatory fields, WorkApps, and training to automate reporting, enforce on-site procedures, and centralize asset data and communications. As a result, Engie cut report times dramatically (multi-site reports from weeks to 1–2 days; small reports to 5–10 minutes), eliminated repeat truck rolls in inspected workflows, and achieved estimated annualized savings of about $179,000 (≈ $17,900 per employee), including $30,000 saved from reduced repeat field travel.
