Preview of the Møbeltre AS Case Study

Møbeltre AS expands 24-worker production with SCM’s five-axis machining center

Møbeltre AS, a Norwegian furniture components manufacturer, faced the challenge of needing extreme production flexibility to meet client demands for small, highly customized batches with short delivery times. To address this, owner Håvar Tandstad turned to vendor SCM and invested in the Morbidelli Author M100 five-axis machining center to upgrade his technology.

The solution implemented by SCM provided Møbeltre with a machine that was intuitive, easy to use, and saved valuable production floor space due to its lack of perimeter protection. The results included significant savings in both time and money during production. Furthermore, the client reported an outstanding relationship with SCM's Norwegian dealer and found the machines to be totally reliable, working without a hitch and enabling them to fulfil all customer requirements.
