A SciNote Case Study
Wigner Research Centre for Physics, a large Hungarian research center, needed a better way to document scientific work and manage data for EU research projects, including meeting growing expectations for data management plans. The team evaluated several options and chose SciNote, an electronic lab notebook, because it was well built, easy to use, and took data management seriously.
With SciNote, the experimental group can centralize lab notes, share protocols, search past results quickly, and generate reports in just a few clicks. Wigner also benefits from cloud-based access and inventory tracking, which supports traceability and future automation efforts. The result is better collaboration, more reliable recordkeeping, and less time spent assembling lab reports, though no specific quantitative impact was given.
