A SciNote Case Study
School of Life Sciences FHNW, Institute for Ecopreneurship (IEC) is a distributed research group working on 3D bio-printing and related biological investigations. They needed a better way to keep team members aligned across locations, share protocols, and stay up to date without relying on face-to-face communication, so they turned to SciNote’s electronic lab notebook.
With SciNote, IEC could store protocols in one place, use drag-and-drop document uploads, and start organizing experiments, due dates, and team communication in a shared platform. The main result was improved collaboration and easier access to the latest document versions, with the workflow and task manager expected to add further value as the team becomes more familiar with the system. No specific quantitative impact was reported, but the customer said SciNote was straightforward and recommended it to other scientists.
