Unibank, one of Azerbaijan's largest private banks, faced a challenge as its popular mobile banking app's expanding functionality no longer matched its existing UX and UI design. The bank engaged ScienceSoft to perform a complete mobile app redesign for both iOS and Android platforms.

ScienceSoft's business analyst began by performing usability testing on provided prototypes to create a detailed specification. Their UI designer then created light and dark mode versions for both platforms, which were handed over to development. Using Scrum methodology, ScienceSoft's developers implemented the new design over three months. The result was a UI that better communicates Unibank's brand values and clearly presents its powerful functionality, implemented within a total of five months with no further design constraints.
