UK Government Agency - Customer Case Study

The UK Government Agency, Child Maintenance Enforcement Commission, needed a SIEM solution for log management, deep data analysis, and customizable compliance reports. It also wanted better visibility into internal processes, and selected IBM Security Information and Event Manager, with ScienceSoft brought in to design, customize, and implement the solution.

ScienceSoft created the TSIEM architecture, custom data collection and normalization mechanisms, and compliance and general reports, with all work performed on-site because of the security level of the environment. The deployed solution consolidated heterogeneous applications, databases, and directory services through 5 standard and 7 custom Event Sources, processed up to 20 Gb of financial transaction events per day, and handled an average events per second volume of 2500.
