ScienceSoft was brought in to support the company’s trade promotion management software integrated with its ERP system.
ScienceSoft created 10 multidimensional Cognos cubes for promotion analysis, finance and commercial control, and demand planning. The solution consolidated trade promotion data in aggregated form and gave sales and financial managers a faster way to generate reports and analyze sales by retailers and goods categories. According to the case study, the cubes improved sales volume and trade promotion forecasting with accuracy and visibility, helping speed-to-market and supporting informed decisions by top management.
