Telecommunication Company, a wireless telecom provider with more than 4 million subscribers, wanted permanent monitoring and analysis of end users’ activities across its corporate systems and applications. After reviewing SIEM options, it selected IBM Security QRadar SIEM and needed ScienceSoft to deploy the platform and tailor it to its existing IT environment.

ScienceSoft implemented a full SIEM solution in two stages, starting with on-site architecture design and QRadar deployment, then remotely developing uDSMs and custom log source extensions for unsupported sources. The project included support for 10 unsupported log sources, 13 log source extensions, processing of more than 940 unique audit events, and 20 additional normalization fields, and was completed on time and on budget.
