SharePoint Search Portal for a Consulting Company

International Consulting Company, an international consulting company serving institutions, family businesses, and entrepreneurs, needed a way to make its PDF content easier to find and use. The company was adding over 2,000 PDFs a year across multiple virtual storages and wanted a search portal with a user-friendly interface, mobile access, and automated email notifications. ScienceSoft used Microsoft SharePoint 2013 On-Premise for the project.

ScienceSoft built a SharePoint search portal that centralized the PDF-document library and enabled search by document metadata and taxonomic terms for more precise results. The solution also included a custom import console, a mobile version with desktop-like filtering and search, and targeted emailing. The project was completed on time and in line with the client’s requirements, and monthly newsletters are now regularly delivered to users.
