The customer, a software consulting company referred to as Our Client, faced a challenge for its customers in the construction industry. These companies used both Procore and SharePoint for document management, creating siloed processes where users of one system couldn't access documents in the other. To provide a streamlined solution, Our Client partnered with vendor ScienceSoft to develop a dedicated Procore-SharePoint connector.

ScienceSoft developed a secure connector that established two-way, near real-time document synchronization between Procore and SharePoint. The solution handled API throttling, resolved version collisions, and implemented secure multi-tenant OAuth authentication. For end clients, this resulted in a convenient, easy-to-install product that eliminated the previous need for costly custom integration projects, significantly optimizing their document management process.
