Unibank, a private commercial bank with $70 million of authorized capital and 40 branches, wanted to give Android users the same ability to manage hire-purchase cards that iOS users already had. The bank turned to ScienceSoft for mobile banking application development services after deciding to create a similar app without a detailed specification, relying instead on ScienceSoft to reverse-engineer the Android version from the iOS counterpart.

ScienceSoft built the Android app with two-factor authentication, card and account management, online payments, GPS-based location search, a newsfeed, chat, and personalized push notifications. The app was finished in 1 month, released on Google Play, and earned positive user feedback with a 4.8 out of 5 rating.
