Scandinavian Company worked with ScienceSoft to reengineer store management software for a chain of beauty stores. The existing system used a customized replication solution to move data from POS terminals to the data center, but architecture limitations prevented it from supporting growth or quality customer service. It also provided little integration between POS, back-end systems, and external services.

ScienceSoft rebuilt the system on Microsoft platforms as a user-friendly application that could be extended with new features and connected to external systems. The solution added unlimited access to core management functions, continuous POS-to-server synchronization, outside-store access to the management module, regular stock updates, and integration with CRM, direct marketing, statistics, and other services. The project was delivered on time, and the customer continued working with ScienceSoft to support the system and add new functionality.
