IBM Security QRadar SIEM Solution for a Major Insurance Company

Life Insurance Company, a Michigan-based life insurer serving retail and institutional investors, needed stronger protection for private client data and better compliance as it moved more of its business to digital channels. To address those risks, it selected ScienceSoft to implement IBM Security QRadar SIEM.

ScienceSoft sent two security consultants onsite for a two-week project that included log source configuration, system fine-tuning, LDAP integration, incident forwarder customization, noise reduction, dashboard customization, parsing enhancements, and development of six custom LSXs for unsupported log source types. The work improved QRadar security visibility, strengthened protection of customer data, and is now in support phase with ScienceSoft available for further fine-tuning.
